Professor Kukushkin was Visiting Professor at the Institute for Molecular Science
(1992) and the JSPS Visiting Professor at the Osaka City University (1996), Japan,
Distinguished Visiting Professor at the University of Toledo (1994), USA, and Guest
Professor at the University of Vienna (1999), Austria. In 2007, he was appointed a
Visiting Chair Professor of the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology.
He was awarded a grant for International Authors by the Royal Society of Chemistry,
UK, 2001. He delivered lecture courses "Aspects of Modern Synthetic Coordination
Chemistry" for undergraduate students, Instituto Superior Tecnico, Lisbon, Portugal
(February 1999) and "Komplexchemie" for graduate students, University of Vienna,
Austria (March–April 1999). Professor Kukushkin gave invited lectures at the
Academies: Accademia Peloritana dei Pericolanti, Italy (November 1993), the
National Academy of Sciences, Portugal, (May 1999) and ca. 40 invited lectures at
various Universities in Europe, USA, and Asia.
